Tonight's basketball game has been postponed to a future date. Girls will have practice today at 3:30.

Parents of basketball players... Tomorrow's game at Montague (vs. Shasta Valley) does not start until 6:00. Because of the lateness, the team will not stop to eat on the way home. There will be no concession stand. We will send a snack with them, but you might want to pack them something more. Athletes will call you when they get close to school to be picked up. I would plan on between 9 and 9:30. Please be prompt on picking them up as Coach Carl will not leave the school until they are all picked up. Thank you!

Come out and cheer for our Wildcat Basketball players as they play their first home game of the season against Castle Rock! Girls play at 5:00, Boys at 6:00. Concessions available. Masks Required.

Families participating in the weekend food program: Please remember to return those food bags so we can refill them each week! If you're not signed up and would like to be, please let me know and I'll make sure a sign-up form makes it home with your child.

Tomorrow, January 3rd, is a MINIMUM DAY and there will be NO BUS running due to a transportation conflict. If your child will need a ride to/from school, please reach out and we will arrange transportation. K-3 will be dismissed at 1:00 and 4-8 dismissed at 12:45.

SNOW DAY - Due to the freeway closure and local road conditions, DES will be calling a SNOW DAY today, 12/16.

There will be a LATE START tomorrow, 12/16. Class will begin at 10:00 AM. The bus is scheduled to run 1.5 hours later than the regular time.

Friday, 12/17, is a MINIMUM DAY. The bus will depart DES at 1:00 PM. SAFE will be closed for Professional Development.

Reminder that today is a MINIMUM DAY. K-3 is released at 1:00, 4-8 is released at 12:45. SAFE is available and the bus will run at the regular time.

Dr. Higer is offering the Pfizer COVID 19 vaccine for children 5 to 11 years old. She is the only provider in South County doing them at this time. She is not limiting the vaccines to only her patients, and is willing to give it to anyone who calls to make an appointment. To schedule an appointment at her Mt. Parents: When dropping your kids off at school, please pull forward to the office. DO NOT STOP AT THE GATE TO DROP THEM OFF. The hill up to the school is slick. Sorry for the constant reminders about this, but I still see this happening every day. Thank you!
